POM-C / PA6 / PET / PE1000

POM-C (Acetal / Polyoxymethylene)
POM-C is a high-performance engineering plastic known for its excellent dimensional stability, low friction, and high mechanical strength. It is ideal for precision CNC machining and performs well in tight-tolerance components such as gears, bushings, and sliding parts. During machining, POM-C produces clean chips, allows high cutting speeds, and delivers smooth surface finishes with minimal post-processing.

PA6 (Nylon 6)
PA6 is a durable and wear-resistant engineering plastic with high impact strength and good load-bearing capacity. It is widely used for CNC machined mechanical components such as rollers, guides, and structural parts. When machining PA6, proper tool sharpness and controlled cutting parameters are important due to its flexibility and moisture absorption properties.

PET (PET-P, Polyester)
PET-P is a strong and rigid engineering plastic offering excellent dimensional stability and low moisture absorption. It is suitable for precision CNC machining where tight tolerances and consistent performance are required. PET machines cleanly with good surface finish quality and maintains stability even in humid environments.

PE1000 (UHMW-PE)
PE1000, also known as UHMW polyethylene, is an extremely wear-resistant plastic with very low friction and excellent impact resistance. It is commonly used for CNC machined liners, wear strips, and sliding components in demanding industrial applications. Due to its softness, machining requires optimized cutting parameters to prevent deformation and achieve accurate dimensions.
